The Position

Seeking an experienced Physiotherapist for 1-2 days a week for several months with comprehensive assessment skills.

Position Title: Physiotherapist

The Team

Services are provided in inpatient, outpatient, community, home and residential care settings.

Our services include; Aboriginal Services and Diversity, Allied Health, Community Programs, Health Promotion, Outpatient Rehabilitation Service, Pastoral Care and Chaplaincy Services, Rehabilitation & Geriatric Medicine, Palliative Care, Residential Care Services, Transition Care and Volunteer Services.

In addition the Executive Director Integrated Care Services has professional responsibilities as the Chief Allied Health Officer As such the CAHO is focused on leading and supporting the allied health professional workforce to feel valued and empowered to provide exceptional, quality care.

Selection Criteria

Essential:

01.A Degree in Physiotherapy with current APHRA registration, and ability to meet Bendigo Health credentialing requirements

Essential:

02.Demonstrated experience in the assessments of falls and evidence based falls interventions for adults.

Essential:

03.Demonstrated ability to conduct a thorough screen of vestibular conditions as part of falls assessment.

Essential:

04.Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team to assess and make recommendations for falls management interventions.

Essential:

05.Demonstrated ability to learn and develop advanced clinical and leadership skills.

Desirable:

06.Demonstrated ability to treat common vestibular conditions.
