The Opportunity

On behalf of a large Federal Government Agency we are looking for two experienced PMO Analysts to join a large transformation program until 30 June 2022. The role can be based in Melbourne or Perth.

There is a requirement for the successful candidate to maintain/obtain a Baseline Security Clearance therefore, applicants must be Australian Citizens.

The Role Requirements

This role will be suited to a hands-on PMO Analyst with a background as either a Business Analyst, Project Manager or PMO Coordinator within a large ICT Program. The role will be responsible for ensuring adherence to documented standards as well as providing guidance and expert advice to project managers and delivery partners.

They Key responsibilities will include;

  • Use delivery information to understand linkages across the program, trends and potential opportunities to support delivery
  • Work in conjunction with all program teams and in consultation with the Enterprise Programme Management Office (EPMO).
  • Support the tailoring of and monitor adherence to the program delivery methodologies (predictive and iterative) including supporting policies, processes, standards and tools
  • Ensure quality, consistency and transparency of program reporting
  • Ensure the quality and consistency of program delivery documentation.
  • Monitor and report on scope, benefits and deliverables across the program.
  • Manage and maintain the programs Change Request process including the support of identification, impact assessment, review and approval/rejection of requests to any changes to agreed scope, timeframe or costs.
  • Facilitate the execution of document reviews, project stage gate and health check reviews with appropriate team members.
  • Active involvement in the continual improvement of all processes across the PMO services.
  • Support the Program for external audits and reviews.
To Be Considered

You will demonstrate initiative, be intellectually curious, posses excellent critical thinking and have the ability to work collaboratively across the organisation to achieve the program objectives. In addition you will be able to demonstrate;
  • Experience and a proven track record as an analyst within a large ICT program
  • Confidence working in a scientific/technical environment
  • Flexibility and responsiveness to environments of transformation and change
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self organised and have a disciplined work approach
  • Relevant qualifications, certifications or professional memberships in project management
