PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The purpose of the Retail Manager is to provide customer service in the retail sales environment, selling stock and services, providing advice, mobile phone connections and client quotes. The role also includes POS, retail housekeeping and merchandising.

High level customer support, prioritizing issues, planning tasks for customers and taking issues through to 100% completion, then further to implement preventive measures to ensure the same issues are not repeated.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES
- Customer Sales and Quotes including Pre & Post-paid mobile phone connections for consumer and corporate clients and associated administration.
- Be an active driver for customer sales targets.
- Understand and apply techniques for meeting individual and team KPIs for sales.
- Understand and provide feedback for product development opportunities and threats in the market.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping for the whole of the department.
- Merchandising and stock control.
- Assume management of specific Projects where assigned.
- Understand and apply quality control techniques and be responsible for the quality assurance of your own work and that of the team.
- Exercises good interpersonal and communication skills, especially with customer enquiries, complaints and concerns, via phone or onsite support and to effectively communicate with other employees at all levels.
- Monitor job log, priorities. Ensure rapid turnaround including customer notification and dispatch of stock.
- Be an active member of the Saturday morning roster and the associated customer service requirements.
- Apply responsibility for self-development, alerting the General Manager of any training needs or desires

KEY REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience (typically 3 years’ experience in the industry).
- Desirable – Telecommunications and ICT training.
- Current NT driver’s Licence.
- National Police Clearance.
