The Tasmanian Health Service is seeking interest from suitably qualified applicants for an Administrative Officer (517371) vacancy.

Salary

$64,212 to $69,522 per annum

Period of Employment

Permanent full-time work, working 76 hours per fortnight commencing as soon as possible.

Please note this process may be used to fill other full time or part time positions.

Location

North West - Burnie

Duties

Provide a high level of administrative and clerical support within Child Health and Parenting Services (CHaPS), providing efficient and effective supervision of administration staff located within a regional team.

Liaise with clients and staff, including dealing with more complex enquiries in person, by phone and in writing.

Assist with the administrative/clerical tasks associated with Departmental assets including buildings, equipment and vehicles.

Complete training to act as a fire warden if required and organise emergency procedures within a designated area as the need arises.

Essential Requirements

  • Current Tasmanian Working with Children Registration.
The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer.
