Job Description Summary An exciting new opportunity for a Works Coordinator to join Comdain's Works Management team in our Clayton office

About the Role Comdain Infrastructure delivers end-to-end engineering and asset management services to leading utility and infrastructure providers across Australia.

The Works Management team are seeking a Works Coordinator responsible for the daily assignment of field resources to both planned and unplanned works including the optimisation, control, dispatch and completed delivery of work orders at our Clayton office.

Reporting to the Works Management Supervisor, the Works Coordinator will ensure all works are prioritised and completed based on client and industry KPIs, helping support end-to-end work order management. This includes monitoring all work to completion in real time to identify, resolve or escalate risks to meeting KPIs; as well as tracking job completion, action referrals and additional works required, ensuring overall job closure and completion of works.

As the successful candidate, you will demonstrate the following;

  • Manage fault and emergency activities during priority-based events to ensure response times and outage KPIs are met, through adequate monitoring and coordination;
  • Liaise with field resources and Supervisors to ensure work is completed within required time frames, including raising additional works, as required;
  • Jeopardy Management: Proactively identify, interpret and highlight works at risk to KPIs and initiate action to prevent problems from occurring;
  • Identify and consolidate client data in order to plan and allocate work orders;
  • Facilitate and manage all aspects of workforce scheduling, planning and allocation within a specialized systems environment to adhere to KPIs;

In addition to the above, we require an individual with;
  • Extensive experience in the coordination, dispatch and control of work and/or resources within the Utilities Sector or similar environment (desirable).
  • Ability to excel within a fast-paced team environment, measured with KPIs and targets;
  • Sound competency in MS Office suite: Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Understanding of SAP/Greentree, or similar ERP software
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with field and office based staff
  • Demonstrated resilience and agility to manage changing and competing priorities, including responding quickly to ad-hoc requests.
  • Committed to a high level of customer service and maintaining client stakeholder relationships
