NAB Assist delivers outstanding customer service to support our customers through significant life events that have impacted their ability to make payments towards their debts by building rapport, understanding their financial situation and developing a solution with the customer.

About You

A customer focused mindset is essential to being successful in this role. You will be able to build strong relationships with customers by working collaboratively with our customers to create effective, tailored solutions to get them back on track financially.

You will have:
  • A strong passion for customers
  • Ability to manage and defuse difficult conversations
  • Problem solving, multitasking and forward thinking
  • Must have strong and clear written and verbal communication skills. The role is a phone based role where you will be managing inbound/outbound calls.
About the Role

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our small business customers, providing customers with genuine assistance and solutions for when life takes an unexpected turn. As an Advisor, you will provide support to customers who have fallen behind on their repayments or are experiencing financial difficulty. Working collaboratively, you will create effective, tailored solutions to get them back on track financially.

Key responsibilities
  • Managing inbound and outbound calls to customers regarding overdue payments
  • Negotiate long term repayment arrangements where the customer is unable to repay arrears in full.
  • Offer a debt prioritisation and counselling service to customers experiencing financial hardship.
  • Financial hardship assistance
  • Establish long term debt agreements
  • Late stage debt recovery
This is a casual full time role with your working hours from Monday - Friday 8am - 6pm.
