We are seeking a talented Operations Manager, Alfred Hospital (initial 10-month contract) to provide operational and financial management of the contract's service lines primarily encompassing Ancillary Services, Cleaning and Ward Support but also Security, and Food Services on a day-to-day basis or in the absence of the Contract Manager. The key objective is to achieve optimum results in relation to service delivery, client relations and financial return to Spotless.

The Successful Applicant will have:
  • Degree Qualification within Healthcare or Business Management or equivalent relevant experience
  • Experience managing large multi-disciplinary teams
  • The ability to create, interpret and analyse data
  • Demonstrated knowledge in managing a department budget
  • Experience ensuring rostering practices are in line with relevant enterprise agreements and awards
  • High-level communication and interpersonal skills
In this role, the employee will be required to manage service line managers and coordinators and, in their absence, supervisors and team leaders.

This demanding role requires an energetic approach with the ability to plan and negotiate well, and the use of a strong communication style to gain support from a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

You will be extremely computer literate, commercially astute, and have a proven ability to link operational objectives to those of the broader Spotless business.
