JOB DESCRIPTION

One of our premium clients based in Sydney is looking for a SAP Functional Consultant PS. The contract is for 12 months where you will be given the opportunity to make a tangible contribution to the continued innovation and success of this client.

About the role

  • SAP project implementation across an end-to end project lifecycle implementing SAP Portfolio and Project Management (PPM) and Project Services (PS) solutions.
  • Design and development of an SAP PS solution including the integration requirements to SAP ECC.
  • Planning, leading and running solution FITGAP analysis workshops with client process experts and stakeholders.
  • Customisation of SAP PS and understanding of core data structures and data flows.
  • Apply problem-solving skills to drive resolution of defects and issues by understanding client needs and presenting options to resolve the problem.
  • Identify, develop and implement solutions to gaps to meet the needs of the business
Essential Criteria
  • A solid background of SAP PS with experience of at least 2 full implementations, ideally in an international consulting environment.
  • Extensive experience in process design, planning and managing execution of the build.
  • Experience implementing systems based on a templated solution will be highly valued.
  • Strong client relationship management and engagement skills. Ambition, excellent leadership skills and a talent for building successful client relationships will be highly valued.
  • Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to deliver high profile activities to tight timescales.
  • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Must be able to be able to plan and manage own workload (self-directing) with minimal. oversight, escalating where necessary to address potential risks or resolve issues
