Plan and lead enforcement operations and intelligence-driven investigations relating to wildlife, forest produce, land and fire management operations including the High-Risk Industry Operation.

The purpose of this position is to contribute to service excellence in policy and strategy, plan and deliver environmental regulation and compliance programs and contribute to a high-performing culture. The position sits within the Strategic Operations branch and plans and delivers operational programs consistent with the Conservation Regulator's risk-based, intelligence-led approach to environmental compliance.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • Knowledge and understanding of conservation regulatory legislation, policy and the planning and delivery of compliance operations.
  • A Certificate IV in government investigations (or an equivalent qualification) and/or experience in the application of environmental regulation is highly desirable. 

This is a fixed term position until 30 November 2021. This position is located within the Barwon South West region.
