JOB DESCRIPTION

• Location: 150 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne/working remotely.

The Principal, Heritage Policy is responsible for overseeing and coordinating a range of projects and programs around the protection and management of heritage places and objects. This includes the development of legislation, regulation, policy, guidance, and procedures relating to identification and management of heritage and places of State significance, historical archaeological sites, and maritime heritage.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in planning, heritage conservation or heritage management or extensive policy experience is highly desirable.

This is a fixed term position available for a period until 30 June 2022.
