We are looking for someone extraordinary to join us as Executive Sales Manager to lead our Australian and New Zealand sales teams into the future. This is a senior position reporting to our Sales and Marketing Director but also working directly with our Managing Director and Founder, Grace Mazur.

around 3000 Consultants and Team Leaders who together work tirelessly to achieve our vision, to place a Thermomix at the heart of every kitchen. The Role 

Success in this role will require the ability to work within a harmonious and driven senior executive team to lead the sales function across Australia and New Zealand. You will collaborate closely with our Field Engagement team (who manage consultant training, leadership development and communications), the Marketing and Business Transformation teams.


  • Lead by example with a People First approach, embedding our Purpose and Values and creating an environment for the team to thrive and grow.
  • Adopt a hands-on approach that demonstrates your understanding of the direct selling industry and brings your experience and ideas to innovate and take the business to the next level.
  • Leverage the experience and quality of direct reports and together build and maintain a high-performance culture, mentor and help them to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Accountability for sales performance and results.
  • Lead and manage the annual incentives plan (including budgets) to drive growth in sales revenue.
  • Develop the national sales forecast, including targets and performance milestones to achieve company goals. Build and execute the sales strategy across multiple channels to deliver the required sales growth and new market penetration.
  • Leverage insights and analytics from our Einstein BI tool to drive improved conversion rates.
  • Review and analyse sales performance against plans to determine effectiveness and target progress.
  • Drive recruitment of new Consultants and Team Leaders.
  • Develop robust development plans to provide succession planning.
  • Drive the value proposition of a consultant-led customer journey that maximises a customer’s experience.
  • Develop an exceptional brand presence in Melbourne, Auckland, Perth, Sydney and Brisbane for our Experience Centres to drive engagement with prospective customers and build brand advocacy with existing customers.
  • Drive improved NPS within the Sales function through a targeted program of outreach and engagement.
  • Partner with the Marketing function to deliver exceptional non-traditional demonstration opportunities.
  • Champion change to deliver programs that increase household penetration, customer loyalty and innovation at every touch point.

About You

You will be an experienced sales leader with a track record of success and the ability to lead through change, provide inspiration and drive commercial outcomes in a high paced environment. A massive ego won’t cut it in this role. We need a professional with the experience and professional maturity to lead, together with the self-confidence and humility to know when to follow. You will also need to have experience working in an environment where relationships matter just as much as the closed sale. This role can be based in Perth or Melbourne.

  • Proven experience and successful results in a high volume sales environment where you have demonstrated commercial acumen by managing sales performance, leading sales professionals and partnering with Marketing to achieve results.
  • Deep level of experience in executing both traditional go to market strategies and hands on experience in a direct sales environment or a fast-growing eCommerce business.
  • Driven to achieve results, you'll be an enthusiastic and creative person with solid senior sales experience within a people centred environment. 
  • You will be highly self-motivated and have the ability to work autonomously as well as learn from those around you. 
  • Proven experience developing long range forecasting.
  • Strong analytical skills, fast learner with the ability to multi-task in a fast-moving organisation.
  • Lateral thinker committed to continuous improvement.
  • Able to work collaboratively and influentially across the organisation, contribute to projects, overall business strategy as a senior member of the Executive team.
