To support our success we are currently seeking a Financial Crime Data Specialist to join the Risk, Legal & Compliance team in our Brisbane head office.

About The Role...

In this newly created role, you will be responsible for supporting the ongoing management of Sunsuper’s financial crime risk. Responsible for data analysis and rule maintenance related to financial crime monitoring platforms and other reports or work queues, you will be key in assisting with continuous development and improvement of Sunsuper’s financial crime prevention and detection. You will work closely with the leader and other members of the financial crime team to ensure risks, such as emerging threats, are identified and managed, and that rules are running effectively.

This role is available as a permanent opportunity.

About You...

To ensure success you will possess:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant business-related discipline.
  • Knowledge of AUSTRAC requirements in relation to superannuation.
  • Strong IT skills and experience with data analysis and forensics systems.
  • Strong analytical/ modelling skills and ability to collect, organise and analyse data with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience with data collation and building/maintaining reports.
