Product Business Analyst

An exciting opportunity currently exists for an experienced and driven professional to join Macquarie in one of our Wealth Management Product Management teams.

This is a role where you can combine your passion for Wealth Management with your technical and analytical skill-sets to actively support the growth and development of Macquarie’s leading products and services.

The products overseen in this role will include managed accounts, superannuation and investor directed portfolio services.

Your initial responsibilities will be in supporting the build out of our fees framework and implementing and documenting process changes as they relate to Wealth Product fees. In undertaking these activities, you will work closely with the Platform Fees Product Manager.

Your primary responsibilities which relate to fees will include:

  • Oversee and support the management of projects both strategic and remedial in nature
  • Creating process improvements, documenting process improvements and implementation of those process improvements
  • Identifying and implementing processes to reduce risks and simplify our revenue offering.
  • Leverage data to conduct a variety of risk-based projects & analysis, including regulatory-driven requests
  • You will also have the opportunity to apply your technical skills to modelling projects

This role will suit you if you are analytical, have a strong numerical flair or possess a curiosity on using data to solve everyday problems across a range of Wealth products.

Skills and/or experience that would help with success in the role:
  • Strong written and verbal skills and ability to effectively managed stakeholder expectations
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to foster and build a collaborative working relationship with various stakeholders
  • Operational and/or business analytical experience within a financial services organisation
  • Exposure to Excel, SQL, Python, Alteryx, Power BI would be advantageous
  • Ability to effectively manage deadlines, work under pressure and understand new concepts quickly
  • Be both a team player and have the ability to work autonomously
