Senior Software Engineer

WiseTech Global - Sydney, NSW

IT
Source: uWorkin

JOB DESCRIPTION

There is a world leading software company reshaping the way the global supply chain connects itself. Headquartered and founded in Sydney, WiseTech Global is used in over 150 countries. We boast a large, well organised team of brilliant software engineers, who are empowered to produce high quality work on a daily basis.

At WiseTech, we work with custom built tools to maintain extremely low defect rates and ship high quality code. Our in-house continuous integration platform, Distributed Automated Tester (we call it DAT), is a powerful piece of kit. It enables us to test new functionality quickly and effectively. We have over 900,000 unit tests and new builds are created every 45 minutes. This is just one of the tools we utilise to stay ahead of the game in building our solution.

As an engineer at WiseTech, we place a focus on your professional development from your very first day. New members of our development team spend their first 24 weeks at WiseTech rotating through 3 different teams. This gives you the opportunity to not only learn the bigger picture of what we are doing here, but to carve out your own career path. We work in a flat and open environment, where we give you the freedom and tools to do meaningful, career-defining work.

The majority of our software is written in C#, so it’s great if you know that, but we don’t hire based on years of experience or tech stack. We look for curious minds and people that demonstrate grit and resilience with a willingness to think differently. If you have what it takes to connect the unconnected and tie together the many moving parts of the world’s supply chains - then send in an application. This is your first chance to impress, so include a link to your Github or Stack Overflow and let us know about any cool projects you have worked on.
