Your Role


As Head of Business Marketing (ANZ), you will be leading and building the brand & marketing team behind commercial business that amplifies our mission of "Inspire Creativity and Bring Joy". You will manage four disciplines of B2B Marketing, Creative Lab, Brand Strategy and Content & Creator Solution, nurture the team and drive strategy and growth for them. You will help create the TikTok For Business brand and establish TikTok as a unique and critical investment for the industry we serve. This role will report into GM of Global Business Solution, Australia & New Zealand.


  • Brand Presence: You will help TikTok show up in meaningful ways to the global industry and fuel critical industry relations that not only benefit our business but also creates progress in the industry.
  • Creativity: You will set the industry standard by defining what is possible and best in class on our platform, collaborate with partners and delivering exceptional creative communications, programs and scaled learning that provides clarity and inspiration through our platform.
  • Media Value: You will envision the current and future potential on TikTok, and actively develop opportunities that enable businesses to reach their goals and grow their investment over time.


Success in this position requires not only business marketing excellence but the ability to drive commercial success. You'll often need to act autonomously and influence partners to pursue what's best for our brand and business. You'll partner closely with XFN teams to scale your business marketing ideas into programs, tools and resources for clients.


Responsibilities


  • Scale and manage a team of marketing professionals, consisting of 15-20 B2B marketing experts, Brand Strategists, Creative Strategists and Creator Campaign Manager to deliver marketing programs, brand initiatives and creative solutions with the aim of growing brands' investment on TikTok
  • Develop "TikTok For Business" brand strategy and create go-to-market guideline for all upcoming activities, position TikTok as the leading media platform for domestic and global brands, deliver messaging via various media channels and B2B touch points
  • Oversee marketing functional areas including marketing strategy, marketing communications, event production, creative and brand strategy
  • Collaborate with peer sales leaders to provide ongoing guidance and support to their teams including responses to client RFPs, creative research and day to day creative strategy
  • Drive tentpole activations for TikTok brand in the digital and physical world
  • Partner with cross functional teams to support B2C and B2G activities including TikTok User Operations, Media Relations, Government and Legal
  • Closely collaborate with TikTok's global marketing to adopt best practices and share success
  • Establish managerial processes: annual planning, budget prioritisation, impact measurement, etc.


Qualifications


  • At least 12-15 years of experience in marketing, media background preferred
  • At least 8+ years of management experience of team of 15 or more
  • Experience in Brand Strategy, Business marketing and Creative
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, especially the mobile, social landscape in Australia & New Zealand
  • Experience working with both B2B & B2C customers in an international environment
  • Superb understanding of TikTok’s owned-and-operated properties is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter, fast learner who is detail-oriented and has critical thinking
  • Ability to navigate change and ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills, positive attitude, and a collaborative mindset
