Grand Bar and Bistro is looking for an experienced Venue Manager to become part of our highly decorated venue and lead.

If you are looking for an exciting and challenging role in a friendly vibrant Bar/Restaurant, where the guests leave feeling good because of the understanding and personal warmth of our team, this could be the opportunity for you.

The successful candidate will have

  • An engaging and kind attitude and be prepared to exceed the guests expectations.
  • The ability to manage and be willing to take a hands-on approach at all times.
  • An in-depth knowledge of inventory management systems.
  • Experience in working in a bar and restaurant with high focus on beverage/food.

 Responsibilities will include

  • Recruitment, hands-on training and performance management of the team
  • Implementation of policies and procedures for the venue, including all aspects of liquor licensing and general workplace health and safety regulations.
  • Assisting with Special Event planning and management of the events

To be considered for this role you must have a minimum of 2 years management experience in a similar size business.
