Position: Project Manager

Position Type: Full-Time

Location: Green Square NSW 2017

Our client is seeking an experienced full-time Project Manager to manage project delivery to achieve defined project specific objectives (program, quality, financial, WHS) by driving successful project outcomes.

Tasks required include:

  • Lead and manage the delivery of assigned projects, through transition from estimating team to practical completion and end of defect liability periods
  • Ensure financial performance and liquidity of projects, including letting trades, cost reporting, forecasting and cash requirements
  • Ensure safe working environment for all project team members
  • Coordinate and complete the delivery of design & construct projects within targeted financial range and timeframes
  • Oversee all project delivery components including design & engineering, procurement, purchasing, fabrication, contracts administration, programming and site management, etc.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors
  • Complete monthly project cost reporting and forecasting
  • Motivate and lead project team by establishing a cohesive team environment at both staff and subcontractor level
  • Manage project team performance both informally and formally
  • Leadership and oversight of project risk assessments and associated monitoring and actions
  • Ensure project is installed to specification and in accordance with Australian Standards
  • Lead commitment to and conformance with project IMS requirements and accreditation
  • Conduct project incident investigations and report to Senior Management as required
  • Lead and oversee project learning, improvements and wrap ups-including Pink Slips, Lessons Learned sessions etc.
