Experienced Customer Service Representative to join this industry leading supplier of scientific equipment, instrumentation, and chemicals. About the company
Our client is a leading supplier of scientific equipment throughout Australia and New Zealand. Partnering with world leading suppliers they continue to provide quality technology solutions including instrumentation, consumables and reagents for research, biotechnology, clinical diagnostics, education, and industrial applications. Their team of highly qualified professionals share a passion for science and their team are dedicated to continually providing excellent service and support.

About the role
In this dynamic, exciting, challenging, and fast paced role, reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Answering incoming enquiries regarding stock availability, deliveries, and pricing
  • Providing quotes to customers via phone or email
  • Provide product information to the Sales Team and Customers as requested by the Product Managers.
  • Inputting sales orders
  • Coordinating with warehouse staff to ensure customer delivery expectations are met.
  • Analysis of stock availability using system reports.
  • Maintenance of customer information regarding orders held in the system.
Skills & experience
As the ideal candidate and to make the transitions as smooth as possible, you must possess the following key attributes:
  • Previous customer service experience within a scientific equipment and consumables organisation
  • Experience ideally within a laboratory or scientific environment
  • An ability to build rapport across all levels both internally and externally
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and time management skills
  • A relevant Scientific Tertiary Qualification will be well regarded.
