About the Role

  • Ability to work with the Management Team to successfully facilitate, promote and adapt to change to ensure continuous improvement in processes providing quality care to patients.
  • As the first point of service you are required to greet patients and/or their relatives professionally and courteously while remaining calm and empathetic ensuring that patient care and safety is the priority and focus.
  • Confidently communicate with all levels of staff and clients, understanding and anticipating needs, including undertaking investigations to find and implement solutions to meet those needs whilst demonstrating a positive service focus.
  • With flexibility in a constantly changing team environment you are required to proactively plan, organise and manage own time effectively to produce results and meet deadlines. Demonstrate a strong understanding of workloads within the department and take a team approach in providing support where necessary.
  • Ability to provide administration support at short notice for emergent leave
  • Complete general administration duties which may include but not limited to photocopying/scanning, filing, stationery ordering, re-stocking relevant areas within the Emergency Department.
