About the Role

To provide clinical leadership as Senior Clinician/Coordinator of the Dandenong Mobile Support and Treatment Team (MST). Our Monash Health Mobile Support and Treatment team work is a multi-disciplinary team that provides treatment and support to individuals experiencing complex mental health problems. This role is to support recovery through medication education and adherence, enhance service coverage and provide greater level of therapeutic intervention. We strive to deliver high quality recovery-focused client care. Our aim is to promote self-efficacy and independence, and social inclusion with all the individuals we support.

Working in our diverse geographical area, you will enjoy the challenges of working with the complexities of mental health and making a positive difference every day. You will work closely with the range of mental health services to effectively co-ordinate client care, including inpatient units, CATT, CCU and PARCS.

What you need to know:

  • Service operates 7 days a week, x2 shifts 0800-1630 and 1400-2200
  • Community Mental Health clinic location is in Dandenong
  • this is a mobile outreach team, Clients are usually seen in their own home environment or in the clinic.
  • Autonomous role with the balance of working in a team environment
  • Access to high quality clinical supervision offered
About You

You will be either a Registered Psychiatric Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or Social Worker with experience in providing community mental health services and must have completed post graduate qualifications.

You understand the complexities of working in Mental Health through your demonstrated and existing experience. You also enjoy exercising your time management skills in prioritising a busy diary. You will be committed to recovery-focused care, a strong team player, and willing to contribute to the continual improvement of the service.
