The Position

We are currently seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters to join our Field Service team based in the Central Queensland area to service multiple sites and to support our Force Workshops. Reporting to the Field Service Supervisor you will have the opportunity to work with an experienced team of qualified trades people and be responsible for the following;

  • Ongoing maintenance and service of our mining client equipment and machines
  • Ensuring all maintenance repairs are performed in accordance with company guidelines and within cost targets
  • Providing support to the mining rental fleet as required and our Force Workshops
  • Working with our mining customers to meet company objectives
We are looking for
  • Nationally recognised trade qualification
  • Current Standard 11
  • At least 2 years post trade experience in a Field Service role and exposure to Heavy Earthmoving equipment namely Caterpillar, Komatsu and Hitachi
  • A strong commitment to safety
  • Strong analytical and diagnostic skills with a solutions focus
  • Ability to work as part of a cohesive team as well as autonomously
  • Licence to conduct high risk work with dogging, C6 crane, EWP, LF and working at heights classifications will be highly regarded- Up-skilling an be provided
