Job Description:

The Role

Cardno is currently seeking a Bid Coordinator to join the St Leonards office and support NSW ACT NZ with major bid proposals. The primary focus of this role will be to coordinate and produce bid and proposal documents in consultation with other key stakeholders. This will involve managing the process from start to completion and producing documents of the highest quality.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting to develop their skills into being a trusted advisor to the business . You will be working closely within the business development team and be mentored by two highly experienced and respected Bid Advisors.

Specifically, your duties will include:
  • Managing the end to end process for major tenders, proposal submissions and expressions of interest;
  • Developing and maintaining the proposal toolkit and database and ensuring that all company design guidelines are adhered to;
  • Liaising with a number of senior key stakeholder to ensure all input has been obtained;
  • Coordination of marketing material including artwork, copywriting and graphic design;
  • Ad-hoc administrative tasks. This will include managing the administrative process when dealing with external panel providers e.g. councils.
About you
  • Previous experience working within a bid / tender / pursuit role within a professional services company
  • Advanced level skills in Microsoft office programs e.g. Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience using InDesign
  • Ability to work independently and in a team to manage multiple projects and conflicting priorities;
  • High level attention to detail, sound copywriting, editing and proof reading;
  • High level interpersonal skills with the ability to positively liaise with key stakeholders;
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines;
