JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently seeking an experienced Customer Services Officer for a 7 month assignment in Carnarvon.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake reception duties, including front counter, facilitate guest sign-ins and answer incoming calls to depot.
  • Provide telephone support for other regions where required.
  • Identify and lead customer services improvement projects.
  • Undertake additional customer service duties as required.
  • Support colleagues to log depot maintenance issues through the correct self-service channels.
  • Provide administrative support to the Gascoyne Midwest office including maintaining sufficient stationery stocks, bespoke orders, catering, mail and ordering of other consumables.
  • Manage multiple mailboxes.
  • Manage the visitation of local contractors and staff from other depots.
  • Assist with completing labour and vehicle appropriation and reconciliation for the region.
  • Assisting with creating purchase requisitions for conversion.
  • Prepare invoices for payment
  • Provide events support to Retail and Community Manager during peak periods, where required.
  • Attend and support community and stakeholder engagement events as required.
Skills and Experience

Essential:

  • Excellent customer services skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to analyse data
  • Ability to work autonomously and take initiative
  • Ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work quickly and precisely
  • Previous experience in a customer service role
Desirable:
  • Proficiency in Gentrak Velocity and Gentrak MData
  • Basic knowledge of Ellipse
  • Competency in the use of Power On Advantage
  • Experience working in a utility or government customer services role
  • Sound understanding of energy pricing and issues affecting WA energy sector
  • Basic financial management skills
