The Role

Programmed Industrial Maintenance is currently seeking Electrical & Instrumentation Technicians for a major shutdown, 20th of May till the 11th of June.

Successful applicants will have previous mine site or refinery experience, with a strong work ethic and demonstrated commitment to safety.


  • Dates - 20th May to 11th June
  • FIFO Perth

Skills, Experience and Attributes

The ideal candidate will need to have the following experience

  • WA Electrical License
  • Ball, knife gate, pressure control and flow control valves, disconnect/reconnect, stroking, position limit setting and fault finding
  • Temperature measurement instrumentation, disconnect/reconnect, hotbox testing and fault finding
  • Pressure measurement instrumentation, disconnect/reconnect, calibration including completing calibrations sheets, bucket pump and dead weight testing
  • Electric motors, disconnect/reconnect, direction testing and fault finding
  • Conduit installation and repairs, including solid and adaptaflex conduit
  • Cable installation, replacement and repairs
  • Fixed plant lighting, repairs and replacement
  • Work lights’ minor repairs, testing and tagging
  • Portable appliances, minor repairs, testing and tagging
  • Generator, connections and disconnection
