Role Details

Reporting to Supply Network Planning Manager, this role is responsible for 3 direct reports.

Your Key Accountabilities

Production Planning

  • Prepare and issue ANZP supply/production plans for all ANZP production and co-pack facilities across a 26 week horizon
  • Ensure Production Planning is optimised to achieve OEE and inventory targets, and conduct Rough Cut Capacity Planning to ensure availability of capacity and optimal capacity utilisation
  • Conduct long term production planning across a 24 month horizon
  • Ensure that supply plans are aligned to key business KPIs such as targeted customer service levels, balanced to inventory, safety stock and cash flow targets
  • Ensure Inventory is managed, stocking policies are reviewed ongoing to meet business requirements, inventory health is measured against forward weeks cover, and service risks are proactively identified
Bulk Wine Allocation / Planning
  • Plan for Bulk Wine Allocations to meet export requirements and domestic production requirements, and optimise these allocations based on commercial priority and operational efficiency
  • Coordinate bulk wine movements across external wineries to fully integrate supply and production planning
  • Optimise Bulk Wine / Tank Management to reduce bulk wine losses, minimise manual handling, and review batch size optimisation periodically based on forward demand
New Product Planning
  • Conduct Supply Feasibility assessments for New Products, identify supply risks, and Identify optimised supply chain solutions for new product production
External / Third Party Manufacture
  • Manage bulk wine and cased goods purchase ordering for non-Australian products required to service supply, operational and demand plans
Sales & Operations Planning
  • To fully support and run the weekly exceptions review process in conjunction with the Regional Supply Manager ANZP
  • To fully support the monthly ANZP supply review process, and to lead the meeting in the absence of the Regional Supply Manager ANZP
  • To action and follow up on any relevant actions and outputs from the ANZP supply review process as required
Master Data Management
  • Responsibility for ensuring that all relevant planning data is reviewed maintained and updated to maintain the integrity of the planning system on a weekly and monthly basis as required
  • Responsibility for ensuring data integrity and optimising the use and integration of the various Planning system platforms (JDE, INFO, COGNOS, AS400).
Other
  • Working with Production, ensure all supply plans are delivered through the Operations, and supply risks proactively identified and managed
  • Ensure cross functional relationships within Accolade Wines are developed and maintained.
  • Work with Commercial, Sales and Marketing teams to develop opportunities of growth and support the business activity.
Other Accountabilities Include
  • Ensure that all accountable functions operate in compliances with the relevant internal and external regulatory requirements, including but not limited to the Company code of conduct, ISO, BRC, TSO, EHO, HMRC, HSE, etc.
  • Lead all personnel and ensure they have an effective understanding of our business, its processes, objectives, standards, measures and the impact their personal performance has on these measures.
  • Maintain effective and timely communication across Accolade Park using a variety of mediums.
  • Provide industry leading packaging options for Accolade Wines Sales & Marketing teams.

Experience
  • Extensive experience of high-speed batch process environment
  • Experienced working at senior level within a FMCG
  • Strategic experience and expert functional knowledge
  • Experience of manufacturing planning, S&OP and MRP-II and ERP environments, Advanced Planning Systems and ideally JDE
  • Experience with Infor Advanced Planning, and preferable experience with AS400
  • Ideally 3-5 years Supply Planning experience
Essential Qualifications
  • Relevant qualifications in a Planning or Supply Chain discipline
