Government agency seeks Marketing Coordinator to design & deliver marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness & promote its products & services

Marketing Coordinator opportunity

Our client, a government department, seeks an experienced Marketing Coordinator for a full-time, 6 months contract with an immediate start.

As the Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for the design and delivery of marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and promote the department's products and services.

Responsibilities and tasks:

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Design and delivery of marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and promote the department's products and services, meeting campaign objectives and KPIs
  • Assist with all aspects of marketing from research through to copy writing/content production
  • Coordinate the production of digital, print, and other promotional collateral
  • Production and management of B2B and B2C marketing activities as required, including email marketing promotions and other digital campaigns
  • Promoting online events such as webinars
  • Liaising with graphic designers, advertising agencies, media agencies, and video production companies
  • Liaising with stakeholders within the department to source content for campaigns
  • Coordinating campaigns with partners in other government departments as well as businesses and other organisations

Experience and Skills:

The experience and skills you will need to demonstrate include:

  • 3+ years' experience in marketing with a demonstrated ability to prepare and implement strategies and identify proactive marketing opportunities
  • Researching and undertaking event sponsorship
  • Strong partnership and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability in developing constructive relationships with senior internal stakeholders and external stakeholders and having initiative to identify opportunities or risks.
  • A good understanding of the intricacies of working within government, with the ability to work in a dynamic, high pressure environment

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline e.g. in Marketing, Digital Marketing/Campaigns, Communications
  • Government marketing campaign experience would be highly regarded
