About the role

The HR Business Partner will provide high level strategic and operation leadership, advice and support on HR matters to managers and employees, with a focus on an allocated client portfolio. The appointee will work closely with University executive, senior staff and managers, providing strategic advice and assistance in relation to performance management, workplace relations, workforce planning, leadership coaching, managing change and business improvement.

The remuneration package for this position is up to $135,789 per annum (inclusive of base salary $105,162-$116,059 per annum and 17% employer's contribution to superannuation).

The successful candidate can negotiate a Lismore or Gold Coast location, and generous financial support is available if relocating to the area for this role.

About you

With substantial experience in a senior HR role, you will have a track record of successfully engaging stakeholders in workforce planning, people strategies and workplace change. To be successful in this role you will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the proven ability to negotiate successful outcomes with stakeholders.

With a thorough knowledge of application of EAs, NES and IR legislation, you will have a track record of successful management of a range of HR issues. You will also demonstrate how you have utilised performance and benchmarking metrics to inform strategy and decision making at a senior level within a large organisation.
