An exciting opportunity has become available for a proactive, highly organised and engaging People & Culture Advisor to join our dynamic and professional team based at our Perth CBD office. You’ll be the ‘first-line of contact’ for people-related matters and you will provide advice and expertise within a Business Partnering environment. You will need to be comfortable giving advice and talking to leaders, employees and colleagues to enable timely delivery of customer service and People & Culture priorities.

In partnership with the business unit leadership team you’ll provide subject matter expertise and advice across all facets of People & Culture and Human Resources to support and promote the Business Unit People plan.

This role is a 6 month max term contract.

Your Key Accountabilities Include

  • Being the first line (triage) contact for People matters and manage queries
  • Working closely with colleagues to ensure that all enquiries and associated tasks are managed in an accurate and timely manner;
  • Support recruitment and selection activities
  • Add expertise and support relating to people matters within specific projects
  • Providing information to stakeholders that align with Synergy’s processes, policies and procedures e.g. code of conduct, policies, procedures, standards and guidelines
Ideal Attributes
  • Degree qualification in Human Resource management or a relevant degree;
  • Previous exposure to a Human Resources environment
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Time Management and the ability to prioritise
  • Ability to build strong relationships
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication (email, letters, phone advice).
