As the National Groups and HUB Specialist you will be required to manage group and event enquires and coordinate Conference and Accommodation groups into Minor Hotel’s properties across Australia and New Zealand. In addition, you will be supporting the Sales Team by assisting with administrative tasks as required.


  • Manage relationships with group booking organizers from initial enquiry through to receipt of payment and handover to property.
  • Liaise with sales and revenue teams with regards to the control of new group bookings and events
  • Database management and data entry
  • Liaise with group organizers and advise on operational policies and procedures
  • Focus on conversion of booking enquires to achieve occupancy and average rate budgetary targets
  • Manage and record marketing information (source, region, market, and origin fields)
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including Hotel Managers, Central Reservations Office, and Commercial Office team members
  • Update and provide relevant reports and feedback to management
  • Look for opportunities to cross promote all Oaks properties.
  • Maintain awareness of sales, marketing, and revenue strategy across the ANZ region.
  • Maintain a comprehensive level of product knowledge and actively sell all attributes of the Minor Group.
  • Ensure Hotel Managers are aware of key arrivals and ensure VIP treatment is provided where required.
