An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and experienced Grade 2 Clinical Neuropsychologist to work on a permanent part-time basis (0.8 EFT) with the Chronic & Complex Care Division at Western Health working with patients from the following services (programs)

  • Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR)
  • Community Health Independent Program
  • Transitional Care Program - Community Based
The Clinical Neuropsychologist will work alongside a supportive and innovative multi-disciplinary team of Allied Health, Nursing and Medical Staff, to provide Best Care for the community of the West. In this role you will play a key clinical role in providing specialist assessment, diagnosis, management, counselling, and rehabilitation of individuals with neurological disorders and brain impairment.

Commitment and passion for providing exceptional patient centred care;

Experience in working with a range of neurological disorders, especially stroke;

Passion for working with clients with complex and chronic health conditions, in a dynamic clinical and community setting;

Commitment to a Psychology Service that promotes an evidence-based, best practice culture, and supports continuous service improvement.
