The Role
As Pricing Integrity Analyst, your role is to assist with investigation, analysis and/or remediation of various pricing matters. You will ensure understanding of data, pricing models, current and historic rating engines and you’ll use technical pricing models to ascertain the Pricing Integrity of current and historic pricing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilise technical pricing models to ascertain the Pricing Integrity of current and historic pricing processes
  • Assist with the development of model scenarios to assess the impact of different model factors and pricing approaches
  • Assist in the build of data requirements, data analysis and analysis outputs
  • Assist in the determination of affected parties and remediation payable
  • Support the build of data requirements, data analysis and analysis outputs, ensuring approaches are repeatable and automated wherever possible
  • Follow appropriate model validation protocols including cross validation, testing and peer review
  • Identify and recommend improvements in analysis that increase efficiency and effectiveness
  • Participate in study sessions/reading groups, independent or guided study or research in the areas you want to develop
  • Participate in and assist with preparation and facilitation of internal educational sessions for small and large groups.
Skills & Experience
  • Member of the Actuaries Institute (or similar)
  • At least 3 years of General Insurance experience
  • Familiarity with standard actuarial techniques
  • Programming experience with analytical software such as SAS, R, Python, SQL
  • Expert problem solver with the ability to manage complexity
  • Ideally you will have experience with one of the following: machine learning algorithms; optimisation algorithms; data processing technologies
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, finance or related fields
