The Royal Women’s Hospital is Australia’s first and largest specialist hospital dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of newborns and women of all ages. The Women’s hospital offers treatment for all gynaecological conditions and is a tertiary referral centre for women with chronic pelvic pain, issues related to menopause, pelvic floor problems or other urogynaecological problems. Women with medical complications in the early part of pregnancy are cared for by the gynaecology units. The Women’s also cares for women who are having a termination of pregnancy or who have complications related to reproductive biology such as IVF.

5 North is a 24 bedded ward and complex care is 2 beds. The major areas of focus for the cancer service are gynaecological and breast cancer. Our clerical staff work across all these services.

Your contribution

The Clerk is responsible for the provision of excellent customer service and quality, effective and efficient administration services to the Hospital. In addition, the successful applicant's responsibilities will include:-

Provide excellent customer service,

Provide high quality data entry, word processing and general administration,

Ensure the efficient and effective service operations by performing all the responsibilities and duties outlined.

To be successful within this role you will need to have:
Previous experience in clerical duties

Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Computer literacy
