The Australian American Leadership Dialogue (AALD) is a private diplomatic initiative, which brings together leaders from government, enterprise, media, education and the community to help review and refine the parameters of the Australian-American bilateral relationship.

The Young Leadership Dialogue (YLD) is one of our signature programs that promotes a culture of service, not careerism. We are focussed on issues that concern highly motivated leaders and future generations; forging bipartisan commitment to long-term leadership strategies.

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join our team as a Leadership Program & Alumni Coordinator, taking a lead role in managing relationships with our YLD Alumni and delivering our YLD programs.

You will be responsible for:
Developing a strong working relationship with YLD delegates, board members, thought leaders and YLD Alumni
Maintaining an accurate database of YLD Alumni contacts

About You

You are someone who takes pride in relationship building skills, can engage people at all levels and recognise potential. With high political acumen, you understand the importance of diplomacy and confidentiality and want a role where your work makes a positive contribution to the future.

We encourage you to apply for this role if you:
Can demonstrate a successful track record of managing diverse stakeholder relationships, ideally in an Alumni / Membership / Supporter focussed environment
Are an articulate and passionate communicator with quality administration and writing skills
Are tech savvy and able to learn quickly,
Highly motivated mature professional
Highly organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple programs
Experience with EventsAir or Zoom Conferencing is avantageous
Experience with in-person and on-line events

An understanding of communication protocols within government agencies and NGOs would be an advantage.
