Job Description

Reporting to the National Group Manager - Corporate Grocery, you will be accountable for the execution of strategy for one of this client's Key Accounts to achieve objectives, goals, strategies and measures most efficiently. Responsibilities include:

Formulating account strategy by developing strategy & account activation plans and managing the portfolio to deliver long term performance
Trading Term analysis, modelling, negotiation and execution
Negotiating promotional margin structure, co-contribution and price board positioning
Managing pricing movements and providing proposals in line with strategy
Updating the external account with weekly meetings as well as overseeing handling, OOS, pricing and price board compliance
Building and maintaining relationships with the category buyer and team
The Successful Applicant
Qualifications in a Business degree or a related field, or equivalent experience
Must have 5 years + of experience in being the central point of contact for external client and managing accounts of up to $100 million in revenue per annum
5 years + of experience within the Tobacco or Liquor Industry selling to Grocery, ideally Coles or Woolworths or someone who has worked with a high volume of convenience accounts
5 years + of experience working in a Multinational corporation within the B2B channel
Must have extremely strong financial/analytical acumen with an excellent understanding of P&L - retailer and client
Ability to analyse and interpret complex data to facilitate the identification of risks, issues, opportunities, interests and goals as well as having the ability to strategise long term as well as in the present market
Must have effective stakeholder management and negotiation skills with both internal and external stakeholders
