The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity to join the SME Expansion Sales Specialists (Accounting/Professional Services 1-5) . This team is accountable for growing bookings from existing MYOB SME customers (with up to 5 employees) in the Accounting / Professional Services segment. You will manage an assigned territory of customers leveraging campaigns and content prepared by Marketing and Sales Enablement. You’ll have full accountability for identifying, qualifying, pursuing, and successfully closing opportunities.

As an Expansion Sales Specialist you’ll be part of a team of passionate, hard working sellers executing best in class sales methodologies and pipeline management processes
to deliver high volume opportunities at velocity. By executing the MYOB Sales process you’ll meet or exceed sales quotas, optimise your sales conversion rates, and reduce
sales cycle time.

This team is a critical component of our sales model and presents an outstanding opportunity to hone one’s skills while building a strong foundation in preparation for an exciting and rewarding career with MYOB.

You’ll be focused on:
  • Proactively planning, forecasting and managing pipeline, ensuring that gap and upside plans are in place.
  • Manage a value-based sales cycle from qualification of need, through to objection handling, negotiation and closing sales.
  • Maintain required product knowledge of SME, Practice or Financial Service offerings.
  • Keep up to date with competitor offerings and product releases, ensuring that knowledge is kept up to date.
  • You’ll have a love of learning and strive to lift capability and improve performance

What experience we’d love to see in you:
  • Business development sales professional with 2+ years' experience
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas
  • Experience with campaign driven sales, opportunity qualification, and opportunity management.
  • Value based selling expertise to SME customers is valuable
