The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a new Sales Manager in the SME Industries Team, leading our Australia Campaigns team. These opportunities don’t come up often to lead teams in this high velocity selling team, so it’s an opportunity not to be missed!

The role
You’ll be responsible for coaching, growing and developing your sales team to help migrate more SME customers to a SaaS solution and generate new revenue. Your team will include Sales Specialists who receive MQLS (inbound) for small or medium sized businesses, across key industries types.

Focus areas:
  • To generate incremental revenue through selling and onboarding SME businesses to MYOB’s SaaS solutions, driving a multi-quarter approach to pipeline generation.
  • Consistently deliver revenue targets by setting priorities and coaching your team to execute the activities and behaviours that lead to quota attainment.
  • Assist your team to sell top opportunities focusing on qualification, needs analysis and negotiation tactics. As required approve deals for your team.
  • Demonstrate sales innovation through new ways of delivering and developing customer solutions and ways to position an offer; Assist your team to tailor solutions to address customer challenges and demonstrate how MYOB products can add customer value.
  • Conduct coaching reviews with your sales specialists including pipeline management and opportunity management.
What we're looking for
  • A high level of demonstrated ability in effectively building high performing sales team with a strong ability to inspire and implement change.
  • Strong experience in executing a sales operating rhythm with rigour and discipline to ensure appropriate focus on best practices for forecasting, pipeline management, territory management, measurement of sales and revenue by channel and by product and build consistency of positioning.
  • Impressive experience coaching others in sales opportunity and territory management to improve team member sales cycle, conversion rate and improve margin
  • Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and influencing skills to gain the support and commitment of others
