About the organisation
The Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation (VCGLR) is the independent statutory authority that administers Victoria's gambling and liquor laws. We are responsible for gambling and liquor licensing and undertake activities to prevent and detect breaches, also informing and educating industry and the general public about regulatory practices and requirements. The opportunity
Reporting to the Compliance Director, the Executive Divisional Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and providing effective and efficient administrative support services across the division and confidential support to the Director. It further requires the undertaking of data research, preparation of high-level documentation as prescribed by the Director in support of the Division.
The Executive Divisional Coordinator ensures that highly confidential matters requiring attention are dealt with on a coordinated basis and, when required, tracking division wide administrative matters
Key Accountabilities

  • Undertake administrative tasks related to the Director's position including, but not limited to, the following: management of phone calls and emails; maintaining calendar appointments; follow up on outstanding issues on Director's behalf; coordinate meetings; compile agendas and minutes; document management; procurement; data entry; mass mail outs; travel arrangements and any other administrative task as required.
  • Provide support functions in respect of Commission inquiries (public and private); payment and filing processes in accordance with financial procedures; and licence renewal processes and related licensee queries where applicable.
  • Assist the Director in the development and management of key stakeholder relationships.
