Reporting to the Social Media and Content Manager within the Brand and Agency team, you’ll work closely with our marketing, brand and corporate affairs teams to produce content designed to inspire, inform, entertain and engage new audiences, to drive positive business outcomes.

We’re specialists in our field and love using insight, data and creativity to tackle business problems in fun and interesting ways.

The opportunity
Are you a storyteller? In this role you will be singularly focused on planning and delivering a program of content that gives business owners the inspiration, information, tools and support they need to start, survive and succeed. Supporting our vertical marketing teams, you’ll manage relationships with a broad cross-section of partners, collaborators and suppliers in order to deliver content of an exceptional and consistent quality.

You will help MYOB reach business audiences for acquisition, and deliver value for our existing customers by pushing the creative boundaries, testing new content formats, channels and approaches to content development.

Here are some of the things the Content Producer might tackle in a day:

Own the implementation of the content strategy, with the aim of driving MQLs (Marketing Qualified Leads), and building customer value.
Plan and deliver customer success stories, from customer recruitment all the way to delivery of content both written and video formats.
Work in collaboration with marketing teams to develop and deliver on content plans to support business objectives.
Proactively seek opportunities for thought leadership, or lead generation.
Bring to life our brand positioning, and customer value propositions through content.
Develop and present campaign results and customer insights.
Implement a test-and-learn methodology for all content initiatives.
Coordinate asset creation and deployment between several internal and external agencies.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with key partners.

So far so good? There's a few things we'd like you to have in your toolkit before hitting send on your application.

Extensive experience in developing and delivering on content campaigns to achieve revenue goals
Strong understanding of marketing principles, including test-and-learn methodologies
Strong creative instinct. Experience working with directors and producers to deliver high quality and impactful (primarily video) content.
A deep understanding of content distribution channels (e.g. Facebook, YouTube) and their relevance to various audiences and content types
The capability to generate consistent reporting and powerful insights that prove the value of our content efforts and inform our approach
Strong time management and organisational skills, juggling multiple projects whilst delegating effectively and holding others accountable
High degree of emotional intelligence and ability to work autonomously
Growth mindset
Experience as a business owner would be an asset
Familiarity with: Facebook Ads Manager, Salesforce Social Studio, Google Analytics and Brightedge will be highly regarded.
