About the role

The engine room of our business, our Central Operations team keeps us moving and delivering our services to all Australians. We empower and support our retail teams across the country, helping them deliver great experiences for our customers every single day.

We’re looking for an exceptional Field Operations Lead to join our team.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll work across the Victorian and Tasmanian team, with the responsibility of targeting high loss Regions. Through the successful coaching and training of Regional Managers to implement loss strategies, you’ll play a key role building and driving a culture of delivering profitable sales.

Other ways you can make an impact include:
accountability for influencing sustainable improvement
developing targeted coaching and training for end to end loss improvement
influencing and driving the central team to support the changes required to achieve loss results
supporting management in driving the Profit Protection strategy through ownership and deployment of national initiatives
contributing to the development of Total Loss related content and support materials
proactively working with key business stakeholders, across the State Operations Teams, on projects and to drive continuous improvement

Good things you’ll need

knowledge of store operations, merchandise functions, inventory and supply chain interface would be highly beneficial
ability to identify trends of poor performance and provide solutions to improve total loss performance
investigative and root cause analysis skills
experience influencing retail management teams and confidence to deal with any conflict
the ability to engage with and understand a multitude of stakeholders from head office to store level
a natural flair for turning data analysis into recommendations and creating compelling presentations
a level of comfort to coach performance improvements with peers and/or non-direct reports
