Position Summary
As a Client Advisory Manager within the Matterkind Activations team you will report into, and work with the Client Advisory Director to strategize, plan and execute media campaigns across a specific client portfolio.
The role provides the opportunity to work across premium, top tier brands who vary in digital maturity. There are opportunities to consult clients to unlock investment in personalisation, DMP technology, Dynamic Creative, data lead campaign strategies.
The Client Advisory Manager will create and execute marketing strategies for all brands in the portfolio, advising on the best media strategy for each brand. You will work with the CAD to ensure all marketing strategies are aligned with commercial/business objectives and work to implement innovative, cost-efficient, and effective campaigns to achieve the objective.
You will be surrounded by talented digital marketing professionals that will help drive strategic thinking and help you become a true expert in your field.
Job Responsibilities
The Client Advisory Manager will work alongside our agency partners and is responsible for acting as the subject matter expert for digital and addressable in the early stages of campaign planning, then work alongside the ad operations and trading teams to successfully implement and deliver the campaign against the client goals.

In strategy sessions for clients (pitching / brief responses) the CAM will provide insight into what is possible from a data driven / addressable perspective. They will need to learn and understand the client’s goals and objectives both from a media and business perspective and work with the CAD to ensure these are represented in all campaign executions.

You will be required to provide:
Attention to detail, organisational skills and management of multiple stakeholders from within the agency group and the client.
Creative recommendations.
Guidance on measurement and attribution.
Recommendations on media and guidance on CPMs.
Education and recommendations on DSP technologies (knowledge on Amobee and DV360 is preferable but not required).
Explanations of where addressable trading excels and where it struggles.
Provide data led strategies that help power online results and offline strategies.
Act as the client lead internally to help them navigate through Matterkind’s other functions and capabilities (Data & Tech, Insights, BI).
Providing thought leadership and education ahead of the brief where possible.

Outside of campaign planning:
Training - 101 and advanced mechanics of addressable, DMP/DSP technology demos, data driven marketing and segmentation to both the agency and client.
Work closely with agency counterparts to ensure cohesive relationships and happy clients.
Help increase digital billings in the group through the level of strategic advice and thought leadership provided to clients.
Collaborate with the Product team to initiate bespoke projects based on brand needs.
Manage relationships with ad tech providers & media partners.
Internal reporting and forecasting for Activations team.
Desired Skills & Experience
Minimum of 2 years of digital / addressable experience.
An analytical mindset.
Knowledge of and experience with addressable technologies - ideally as a user.
Client management, ideally in a media or creative agency.
Experience in constructing, presenting and achieving sign off on digital marketing projects.
Experience generating and presenting insights from large, complex reports or data sets.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Powerpoint
