Job brief

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to accelerate the build out of the SupporterHub platform. Working with the Head of Platform Engineering and Head of Development you will help design, implement and manage our future cloud environment environment including client application infrastructure, monitoring and alerting and and CI/CD deployment Pipelines.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the design, documentation, and maintenance of our cloud services in AWS
  • Provide and implement best practices for DevOps automation and collaborate with the development teams to build and refine CI/CD processes
  • Drive operational efficiencies through automation of repetitive tasks such as customer on-boarding
  • Establish great monitoring practices and on-call services
  • Work closely with backend engineers to optimise the performance of backend services


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • This is a hands-on role, requiring in-depth knowledge of Infrastructure-As-Code experience
  • 5+ years experience in a DevOps role across production critical environments
  • Strong experience designing, implementing and managing complex AWS Environments with exposure to services such as EC2, ECS, Fargate, CloudFormation, S3, Lambda, CloudFront and WAF
  • Experience with logging and monitoring solutions such as Splunk or ELK
  • Strong skills and or development experience using languages such as Python/Ruby/Go
  • Strong experience building CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with DevSecOps concepts such as dynamic and static code testing and software composition analysis.
  • Experience with Ruby on Rails a plus
  • Strong knowledge of Linux
