About the role

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a mental health service for children and youth with a complex mental health illness (aged 0 – 25 years) and their families.

The Wundeela Team is a community team for the Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS). The successful applicant will join a very supportive, enthusiastic team, based on a leafy site in East Ringwood. This role will be a permanent role either in a part-time or full time capacity.

We are seeking a senior mental health clinician who enjoys working with children, youth and families; and is a suitably experienced and qualified mental health professional who can demonstrate clinical competency in providing comprehensive mental health assessments, clinical diagnosis and diagnostic formulation, multi-modal therapeutic interventions and intensive case management for those aged 0 – 25 years and their families. You will also be supporting the junior members of staff through supervision and support the team if the Team Leader is absent.

If you are successful you will join a skilled, enthusiastic and recovery oriented team with the opportunity to provide secondary consultations to agencies within the region and participate in delivering family therapy.
