Client Management

  • Develops valuable senior/mid-level client relationships and ensure client service is first class
  • Develops, manages, and monitors client service deliverables across assigned accounts within contracted hours
  • Oversees SEO process and manages execution of the SEO strategy
  • Assures quality control and team output of all SEO campaigns
  • Builds and drives SEO best practice and educates clients along the way
  • Provides an authoritative and valuable point of view, establishing leadership position within the agency and before clients
  • Creates and implements a complete SEO & Content strategy across the assigned client portfolio, encompassing all relevant Atomic 212° products that will drive sales and uplift. You are fully responsible for the performance of the client.
  • Delivers effective workflow (project plans) across all client projects in order to meet deadlines, manage workloads and ensure projects are on time and of consistent high quality
  •  Drives an agenda of inter-agency collaboration to achieve clients’ results
  •  Works with the Head of SEO to feed back on client work/requests in order to continuously develop a forward-thinking SEO & Content product. You must be very competent in all aspects of SEO & Content.
  • Is the daily point of contact for deliverables and agreed strategy for Client Leads
  • Attends client meetings and WIPs to provide deliverables updates, strategic insight, results and agreed reporting frameworks
  • Ensures work produced by junior team members is of high quality, delivered on time and communicated effectively, including regular performance reporting
  • Ensures clear communication to the client contacts at all time, to guarantee client satisfaction and expectation management
  • Strong understanding of clients business, websites, internal challenges, capabilities and development plans in order to feed back into wider strategy and Atomic 212°
  • Manages SEO Managers to ensure work is delegated correctly and completed efficiently
  • Generates critical analysis of data and provides actionable insights to clients.

SEO Execution

  • Implements strategy, planning & SEO process for the client portfolio
  • Continuously evaluates and improves upon all SEO media opportunities
  • Attends client meetings as needed, interface as needed with executive level and middle management level on client side during meetings and presentations
  • Participates in building and evolving the Atomic 212 SEO offering, vision and areas of expertise
  • Promote day-to-day internal communications across the business where SEO, paid search & content collaboration can drive client outcomes.
  • Formulate forward thinking strategies, with potential content (production & amplification), analytics and programmatic product cross-sell
  • Be confident with day-to-day SEO & Content costings, schedules, scopes of work 
  •  Be the central point of resource management for the SEO & Content team, overseeing daily timesheets, billings, budgets etc. for assigned client business to ensure that all accounts are adequately resourced and work is delivered in an efficient manner.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Embraces and encourages a culture based on teamwork, collaboration, and intellectual curiosity
  • Attends and provides training where appropriate; developing relevant knowledge, techniques and skills
  • Motivates, leads, and manages internal teams, working collaboratively to drive programs that meet our clients’ performance and business objectives
  • Helps drive our positioning of SMARTER FASTER ACCOUNTABLE with direct reports through their day to day work and aligned to goals
  • Drives the quality of the team’s output 
  • Ensures reviews take place in a timely manner with monthly check ins with direct reports. Ensure they do the same for their direct reports.

Systems & Finance

  • Ensures on-time delivery of financial reporting to the business, including forecasts and billing actuals
  • Overseas client administration, ensuring relevant documentation is completed and kept up to date.


  • 5+ years of SEO experience in client and or agency environment preferred
  • 3+ years of demonstrated success in managing and leading people
  • 5 years of digital marketing preferred with desirable focus on search engines, display and/or social media
  • Experience with SEO tools and technologies- Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Data Studio, Webmaster tools, Brightedge, Ahrefs, Screaming Frogs, Search Console.
  • Analytical skills-draws insights from raw information and data. The ability to analyze this data for the purpose of determining SEO strategies, approaches, and content planning. 
  • Demonstrated understanding of online marketing principles
  • Strong knowledge of UX/CX principles as they relate to SEO, CRO and consumer first strategies.
  • In depth knowledge of all digital vendors and their offerings
  • Advanced written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • High competency level in Keynote and the Google Suite (particularly Sheets)
  • Able to work independently and balance multiple tasks and prioritize workflow
  • Passion for excellent optimization and aggressive evolution – you will relish pushing the team and campaigns forward in their thinking, structure, and grasp of the latest industry trends.

Salary commensurate with experience and skills from $100k up to $120k inc super.
