You are a hunter who can work leads provided and also identify new opportunities. Listening to our customers is at the heart of what we do. You are based ideally in Melbourne or Canberra and some inter-state travel will be expected as our customers are located throughout Australia

This newly created role has come on the back of yet another record year for Objective RegTech. Every customer RegTech has won over the last 24 years remains with us to this day and we have consistently delivered projects with successful outcomes. You will be focused on selling two products to federal and state government agencies:

RegWorks – a flagship end to end regulatory platform

REACH – a solution to share sensitive data across multiple agencies

What your day will look like:

  • Follow up all leads assigned to your patch from marketing as well as monitoring new tender opportunities and manage responses
  • Identify new opportunities through a mix of networking, tender monitoring, cold calling
  • Run initial demos and qualify leads to opportunities and build a profile for yourself as a go-to person in the RegTech industry
  • Own the proposal/tender bid/RFP process – you will be well supported by the presales team, it is your role to coordinate the presales team and run communications with the customer
  • Maintain Salesforce records and keeping across product developments

What are we looking for:

  • Have won a number of new logo customers. Ideally state or federal government agencies but mid to large commercial enterprise would also be appreciated
  • Liaised with marketing to build successful lead generation activities and then followed the leads to collect wins
  • Loves hunting, presenting and negotiating and has invested in these skills
  • Pulled together winning tender/bid responses managing internal response teams and communications with the customer
  • Brought new initiatives to the business to promote the profile of the company and/or products

To help you be successful, support will be provided to you via our marketing and presales teams. We also run stand-ups, provide regular training, updates and awareness sessions. With a library of wins to refer to, you will be given a thorough induction to the RegTech solutions and trained on how to position our solutions with target customers.
