The Role

The Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant will be responsible for designing and selling Managed Services, Project Services and Infrastructure Solutions. They will build and maintain positive and engaging customer relationships while providing leadership and guidance for our Managed Services, Project Services and Infrastructure Sales teams. The primary focus of this role will be finding sales opportunities as well as overcoming technical and architectural barriers in the sales cycle.

Internally, the successful candidate will be a thought leader by the way they coordinate internal specialist and inter-departmental activities. They will demonstrate a high degree of technical competency while responding to customer needs, delivering high impact presentations, and positioning appropriate solution capabilities and specifications to technical users/buyers. The successful candidate will also have a high degree of sales and financial acumen and use this to respond to customer objections.


The Person

To be successful in this role you will need to have deep experience in technical selling and consulting within a Tier 1 vendor, solutions integrator or similar. While you need a thorough understanding of infrastructure technologies and managed services processes (including SIAM and ITIL) you will also need exceptional interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills to engage with your team and stakeholders. With the sales team you will need the ability to define client solutions through RFI’s and RFP’s. As this role also requires you to be a thought leader, we will be looking for someone with experience in speaking and presenting, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
