  • Mitolo Family Farms is a family owned business that is recognised as one of Australia’s top performing Agribusinesses. It proudly supplies potatoes and onions for sale in major Australian supermarket chains and produce markets nationally.

    Working closely with the farm maintenance team you will be responsibility for the administration components of our maintenance functions. Reporting to the Farm Maintenance Manager you will ensure that repairs and maintenance activities are recorded in our maintenance software data base MEX and jobs are issued when required. You will prepare purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure parts are delivered on time. You will be mechanically minded but enjoy the administration elements of a maintenance function. 

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Management of our maintenance software system – MEX for farm and production
      • Entering service records by equipment
      • Printing work orders and providing to maintenance manager
      • Ensuring plant and equipment is fully recorded in the system so that service and repair records can be maintained against each piece of equipment
    • Raising Purchase Orders for maintenance related work and parts
    • Provide admin assistance to the Maintenance Manager and team

    The successful candidate ideally will have:

    • Excellent Communication
    • Experience in inventory management within a maintenance environment
    • Good numerical and administration skills
    • Ability to multi task
    • Sound understanding of Excel and Microsoft Applications with the ability to learn new systems and processes
    • Strong organisation skills, attention to detail and a sense of urgency
    • A maintenance background and understanding of maintenance planning software would be highly regarded.
