    About the role

    The Practice Manager Special Projects role promotes our suite of services into the community, schools and parishes with a focus on building volunteer and mentoring opportunities across our Integrated Services streams, to extend our reach and service delivery. The role will build on our community presence and increase participation within our Parishes.

    This exciting and varied role will involve different project management tasks, with a strong focus on supporting the day to day operational needs of Integrated Services.

    Our Integrated Services streams include a wide range of programs which support people in our community, ranging from Homelessness, Family Services, Domestic and Family Violence programs and Therapy services. The role will work across all of those service streams.

    This is a Permanent, Full-time position and the Practice Manager will be required to travel to sites located across the Diocese of Broken Bay, which includes Central Coast and Northern Sydney locations


    • Positive and professional engagement with Direct Reports and Volunteers
    • Lead and Manage projects, being flexible to respond with ease to changing business needs
    • Change Management
    • Actively seek, identify, prepare and instigate opportunities for new business and growth areas for CatholicCare Diocese of Broken Bay including identifying resourcing to respond to tendering opportunities.

    Skills & experience

    • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant area (e.g: Social Work, Welfare, Psychology, Health etc.)
    • Significant experience or extensive knowledge in all areas of the community services industry
    • Demonstrated experience in Project Management
    • Strong ability to build effective engaged teams with a positive work culture
    • Demonstrated networking and advocacy skills with both internal and external stakeholders
    • Demonstrated business acumen, including budgeting and financial management experience, as well as ability to grow business
    • Demonstrated ability to manage crisis situations and make sound decisions under pressure
    • Current NSW Driver’s Licence and access to an insured vehicle
