About The Role...

An opportunity has become available for a motivated individual to join this highly recognised, respected and successful business. The role will enable you to fully utilise your current skills, and you will be given the chance to enhance and broaden your capability and learn more about the functioning of a retail business. Reporting to the Senior Manager IT - Operations, this role is conveniently located in the Adelaide CBD.

This position is responsible for the delivery of support services across our Windows and Linux environments. These services include the administration of our on-premise and cloud environments including Oracle Public Cloud, Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure. Hands-on experience in administering data protection and data recovery environment is also required.

The role requires excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills, and a broad range of IT knowledge. 

What we are looking for...

  • 5 years’ experience working in similar roles within large complex IT departments.
  • Experience with MDM tools.
  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange and O365 administration.
  • Experience in Server Virtualisation (VMware).
  • Experience in Network Management.
  • Experience in externally hosted (cloud) platform providers (eg Oracle, Amazon, Azure).
  • Understanding of file system management, backup and recovery tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as leadership, teamwork, facilitation and negotiation.
  • Ability to prioritise work and meet agreed deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Drives innovation.
