  • Board admin support role, part time, based in Loxton the Riverland.

    About the Opportunity

    As Board Support Officer you will provide a high standard of administrative and secretarial support to the Board of LAAS.

    You will

    • Provide confidential administrative support to the Board Members
    • Coordinate all Board meetings including preparation of agenda, booking of rooms, catering and audio visual equipment
    • Attend meetings and take detailed Board minutes, distributing within specified timeframes
    • Create letters, emails, spreadsheets & presentations
    • Logistic coordination including the organisation of meetings and teleconferences, collation and distribution of papers and minutes
    • Coordinate the Annual General Meeting requirements
    • Records management/archiving 
    • Provide administrative and communication support as directed by the General Manager
    • Book travel and accommodation

    About You

    You will bring:

    • Demonstrable experience in supporting Boards, committees and subcommittees
    • Proficient with a range of systems, particularly MS office suite
    • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise and complete work in specified timeframes
    • Outstanding communication skills (written & verbal) with the ability to consult with the Board, Executive, Senior Management and stakeholders with confidence
    • Familiarity with various disabilities and associated requirements
    • Current unrestricted driver's licence

    You must possess (or be willing to obtain) a DHS Disability Clearance or an NDIS Worker Screening and a DHS Child clearance or Working with Children Clearance.
