We have an opportunity for an experienced Legal Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support to our Legal and Contract Management functions on all legal matters.

Responsibilities for this Role Include:

  • Manage and maintain all legal internal databases in relation to property, insurance, litigation and company structures.
  • Maintain the legal contract depository and manage the contract execution process.
  • Prepare board meeting agendas, documentation and meeting minutes.
  • Assist the team in preparing Legal presentations, training and information sessions.
  • Arrange approvals for document execution of legal contracts, leases, Power of Attorney.
  • Manage renewal paperwork for local and global insurances.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required Includes:

  • Certificate IV in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working in a legal environment within a large corporation or law firm.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally.
  • Highly organized team player, that can also work autonomously and recognises the importance of business deadlines.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office; Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
